Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager

About the role

This senior position leads all Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for CVI in Tokyo, including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range strategic planning, and performance management. Reporting to the CVJ Finance Director, the role partners with commercial and leadership teams to provide actionable financial insights that drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary finance business partner to commercial and leadership teams, delivering insights for growth and profitability.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly and monthly forecasting, and long‑range planning processes.
• Oversee headcount, operating expense, capital expenditure planning, and investment tracking.
• Prepare and present financial results, variance analysis, and recommendations to CVJ Leadership and regional stakeholders.
• Analyze business performance, identify drivers, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working capital performance, and month‑end close activities.
• Develop and mentor the FP&A team, driving continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence decision‑making.
• Leadership experience, with capacity to develop and manage a finance team.
• Experience in a multinational or regional finance environment is preferred.
