Guest Services Manager – Seasonal (Niseko)

About the role

The Guest Services Manager leads the in‑resort guest experience for Rhythm Rides in Niseko, overseeing snowsports and backcountry services. Reporting to the Niseko Operations Manager, the role ensures a seamless journey from the daily handover to guest departure.

Key responsibilities

• Train, supervise and coach the Guest Services and Backcountry Guest Services teams, including performance evaluations.
• Create and approve daily rosters aligned with business demand and budget.
• Manage same‑day and walk‑in bookings, lesson extensions, and line‑up adjustments.
• Resolve guest enquiries, concerns and complaints promptly, following company guidelines.
• Match guests with appropriate instructors, guides or experiences in real time.
• Maintain clean, welcoming service areas across snowsports and backcountry zones.
• Keep accurate live records of wait‑list requests and standby availability, driving sales of lesson slots.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Snowsports Operations and Guiding to ensure a smooth guest journey.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and develop a customer‑focused service team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for on‑site guest issues.
• Experience managing schedules, rosters and operational budgets.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, seasonal resort environment.
