Infrastructure Project Manager (SharePoint Migration)

About the role

Manulife is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager at its Hatsudai Head Office in Tokyo. The role leads file and content migration, infrastructure transformation and enterprise modernization projects across network, server, cloud, workplace and collaboration platforms, from planning through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead file migration projects to SharePoint Online and gather and document business and technical requirements
• Lead infrastructure projects across network, cloud, server, endpoint, voice and collaboration platforms
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, resources and vendors
• Drive BCP, DR and operational resilience initiatives and support the infrastructure roadmap and investment planning
• Provide executive-level reporting and governance updates
• Manage multiple small and medium projects, assist in hiring project staff and liaise between the team, sponsor and client

Required profile

• 5 to 10+ years of infrastructure project management experience
• Experience leading file server and SharePoint migration projects
• Strong Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online knowledge, and Active Directory and NTFS permissions expertise
• Network, server and cloud infrastructure experience
• Business-level English and native-level Japanese
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure, SD-WAN/WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/CAPM/PMI-ACP/ITIL certification
