International Sales Internship (SAT-APA)

About the role

Syntegon Technology K.K., part of the Syntegon Group, provides sales, packaging materials, validation and comprehensive services for the Japanese pharmaceutical and food markets. Its plant is in Saitama, about 50 minutes by train from Tokyo. The company is looking for a committed, motivated sales intern to join its international sales team (SAT-APA). The intern completes all tasks assigned by the manager, such as market research, CRM and SPOT data maintenance, preparation of sales and marketing materials, sample testing support and meeting participation. The aim is to develop young talent who may eventually become permanent employees.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the manager or assigned staff member and complete all allocated tasks.
• Assist in maintaining CRM and SPOT data systems.
• Assist in preparing sales and marketing materials.
• Assist with sample test activities.
• Attend and take part in meetings, workshops, events and exhibitions.
• Keep a log of what is learned and report to the responsible staff or manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or similar; a degree in marketing, business or a similar field may be required.
• Must be enrolled at a university or postgraduate school for the whole one-year internship (from January 2027), with a university document stating the credits earned.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work alone or in a team.
• Proficiency in spoken, reading and written English; Japanese is an advantage.
