Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Servier Monde is expanding its Learning & Development function to support rapid growth in oncology therapeutics. The L&D Manager will design and deliver commercial and cross‑functional training programs, building a scalable talent development framework for all employees in Japan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise‑wide soft and hard skill programs aligned with business objectives and Group guidelines.
• Plan and manage onboarding, role‑specific leadership training, and product knowledge sessions for promotional and non‑promotional positions.
• Create oncology product knowledge curricula and operational effectiveness training.
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor training effectiveness and ROI.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and day‑to‑day training operations.
• Coach and mentor a team of L&D professionals, supporting their career development.
• Liaise with Global L&D, Medical & Patient Affairs, and Compliance at the French headquarters, localising global content and sharing best practices.
• Conduct regular communication and reporting in English.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of corporate experience in Learning & Development.
• Proven track record in planning and executing sales, scientific, and leadership development programs.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a team of three or more professionals.
• Strong execution skills in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Native Japanese speaker with business‑level English proficiency (verbal and written).
