Managed Services Consultant - Commercial

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Managed Services Consultant to join its Professional Services team in Hiroshima. The role focuses on post‑product application consulting, helping life‑science customers adopt and optimise Veeva’s cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Stay up to date with new Veeva product features and implement them for customers.
• Collaborate with customer business and IT teams to gather and clarify requirements.
• Design solutions that meet expressed needs and anticipate additional requirements.
• Serve as the liaison between implementation, maintenance, customer stakeholders, and internal Veeva product teams.
• Guide customers in adopting Veeva products and industry best practices as part of post‑implementation programs.
• Drive change‑management initiatives for customers transitioning from on‑premises to SaaS solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system operations and maintenance with direct client interaction.
• Native‑level proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written).
• Ability to read and write English documents, using translation tools as needed.
• Strong capability to understand customer requirements and propose suitable or alternative solutions.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms).
• SharePoint, Zinc MAPS, Documentum or comparable content‑management systems.
• Java programming knowledge.
