Manager, Ortho Supply Planning

About the role

The Manager, Ortho Supply Planning is responsible for ensuring reliable inbound supply and inventory planning to meet product availability goals while optimizing inventory investment. This role works closely with Demand Planning, Sales & Marketing, Distribution Centers, suppliers and the APAC supply team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Supply and Inventory Planning team.
• Drive adherence to global supply planning standards and continuous improvement.
• Own inventory planning, parameters and master data management.
• Leverage ERP/MRP systems for replenishment planning and parameter maintenance.
• Identify and mitigate supply and inventory risks with cross‑functional partners.
• Develop and govern the PSI (Purchase, Ship, Inventory) plan and communicate constraints.
• Oversee purchase order execution and master data governance.
• Monitor inventory performance, provide insights and drive corrective actions.
• Lead problem solving and escalation management for supply constraints.
• Standardize and automate planning processes to improve data quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a multinational environment.
• Aspiration or experience in people management.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Power BI (plus).
• ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Database knowledge (SQL, Tableau – plus).
• Business‑level English and Japanese (spoken, written, reading).
