Manager, Product & Solutions – Digital Payments (Japan)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Product & Solutions to lead the adoption and expansion of digital payment solutions across Japan. The role works closely with the Japan Digital Lead and cross‑functional teams in APAC to articulate product value, influence stakeholders, and accelerate client readiness for implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption and enablement of tokenization and authentication solutions, acting as a subject‑matter expert throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on product capabilities, rules, and technical specifications, and support go‑live readiness and post‑launch stabilization.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external inquiries, conduct root‑cause analysis, and deliver best‑practice recommendations.
• Collaborate with APAC teams, account management, sales, product, and technology groups to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Support initiatives that increase adoption, usage, and overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management or solution delivery within digital payments or related technology domains.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on expertise in tokenization and authentication solutions, with a focus on client implementation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
