About the role

This role supports customers in Tokyo by managing order processes and ensuring accurate sales documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Create quotations and opportunities in the ERP system and deliver them to customers.
• Maintain accurate sales orders in the ERP system.
• Escalate and follow up on unmet customer requirements.
• Handle complex customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and build relationships.
• Expand knowledge of Applied Materials products.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related fields.
• Understands best practices, integration points, and competitive landscape.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems and exercises sound judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, and project activities across teams.
• Communicates difficult or sensitive information and builds consensus.
