Solutions Architect - Japan

About the role

We’re hiring Solution Architects to help the world’s leading engineering organizations understand what AI‑native software development looks like in production. This deeply technical, post‑sale role sits within our most strategic enterprise accounts, working directly with engineering teams to roll out high‑impact workflows, accelerate adoption, and reshape how software is built with AI.

Key responsibilities

• Configure environments, design workflows, and run hands‑on enablement sessions for engineering teams.
• Partner with customers to operationalize AI‑assisted development at scale and expand Cursor across the organization.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical working sessions, and strategic planning discussions with developers, platform teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Help customers translate adoption into measurable engineering outcomes such as faster iteration cycles and improved developer productivity.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering to shape new capabilities and reusable playbooks.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer tooling.
• Experience in customer‑facing technical roles such as Solution Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to work hands‑on with engineering teams while influencing technical leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• High ownership, strong execution, and comfort operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
