Sr. Account Executive - Remote Japan

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support, managed services and Agentic AI ERP solutions for Oracle, SAP and VMware, is hiring a Senior Account Executive to sell its service offerings. The role reports directly to the Director of Sales and is fully remote from a home office in Japan, with travel of 25% to 35%. The ideal candidate has 10+ years selling ERP software for Oracle and a track record of success at small start-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Build the sales pipeline in a defined territory and meet or exceed quarterly quota targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospect identification and coordination with internal teams to closing deals.
• Follow up on qualified leads and guide prospects' strategic vision toward the RSI solution.
• Execute the RSI sales methodology and update and track all activities in the Salesforce CRM.

Required profile

• 10+ years selling ERP software solutions for Oracle, with proven success at smaller start-up companies.
• Knowledge of the enterprise software industry and a record of sustained quota over-achievement.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience selling for major software vendors (e.g. SAP or Oracle) or competing against them while selling for start-ups is desired.

• Consultative sales approach, articulate with strong writing and presentation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Able to leverage a team of Sales Engineers, lead generation and marketing.
