Talent Acquisition Recruiter – Japan (B4)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end recruitment activities in Japan. You will develop sourcing plans aligned with business objectives, represent the company at career events, and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute recruiting and interviewing plans for each open position.
• Leverage external vendors, job boards, and niche sites to source candidates.
• Conduct regular follow‑ups with hiring managers and HR business partners to assess recruiting effectiveness.
• Maintain relationships with universities, institutes, and professional associations.
• Utilize Workday and CRM systems for sourcing, reporting, and process improvement.
• Negotiate salary proposals, finalize offers, and manage the offer process in Workday.

Required profile

• In‑house talent acquisition experience as a recruiter.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese.
• Ability to work independently with moderate guidance.
• Located in Tokyo and able to travel up to 10% of the time.
