Digital Transformation Internship in Controlling

About the role

This internship is part of Bosch Japan's Vehicle Motion Division, supporting the Controlling Process Excellence (CPE) team. You will work on real‑world data and automation projects, helping to connect systems, build usable dashboards, and drive digital efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate data from SAP exports, Excel files, and Power BI into reliable reporting pipelines.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards that meet business needs.
• Identify repetitive workflows and develop automation solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Contribute to AI‑assisted use cases such as summarisation, translation, and structured data collection.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Data Science, IT, Business Informatics, Engineering, Analytics or a similar field.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a keen interest in automation and system integration.

Required skills

• Power BI – data modelling, basic DAX, dashboard creation.
• Excel – Power Query, PivotTables, logical formulas.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Python, SQL or APIs (preferred).
• Basic exposure to SAP data (user level).
• English fluency (Japanese basic to intermediate is a plus).
