About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Manager III, Customer Engineer to lead a district of customer engineers in Chitose, Japan. You will be the primary interface between customers and product divisions, driving relationship management, technical support, and financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer relationships across all levels in the district.
- Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, including salary and career planning.
- Lead account planning with District Sales Engineer and provide support plans for system sales.
- Oversee system installation, RMA procedures, and financial forecasting for the district.
- Execute escalation procedures and monitor mentorship and award programs.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Strong business acumen with responsibility for financial results.
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and present technical information.
