Account Sales III

About the role

The Account Sales III acts as the primary liaison between Applied Materials and its customers, owning the full sales cycle from identifying needs to closing deals. This role requires presenting product and service offerings, negotiating pricing, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the relationship.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop tailored sales strategies.
• Present Applied Materials products and services to existing or new customers, coordinating demonstrations with product business groups.
• Communicate product roadmaps and capabilities to customers and convey customer technology requirements back to internal teams.
• Prepare pricing quotes, negotiate final prices, and submit order documentation.
• Follow up on accounts receivable and maintain accurate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers.
• Maintain summaries of customer visits and develop customer‑specific action plans.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in the sales discipline and basic knowledge of related technical areas.
• Understands best practices, market competition, and how the sales function integrates with other business units.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and can lead small, low‑risk projects.
