Sales Coordinator

About the role

Fender Musical Instruments is looking for a Sales Coordinator to provide back‑office support for the Japan domestic sales department. The role focuses on data‑driven decision‑making, improving operational efficiency and enabling sales representatives to concentrate on high‑value activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data from internal IT tools and other departments, then create, adjust and share daily, weekly and monthly sales reports (e.g., daily sales report, weekly forecast sheet, monthly retail sales/inventory report).
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as strategic planning, budgeting, dealer programs and town‑hall meetings under the direction of the Regional Sales Director.
• Maintain shared drives with logical folder structures and keep business procedure manuals up to date.
• Assist sales representatives with meeting preparation, customer information gathering, and visualization of sales, inventory and order trends.
• Coordinate product launch preparations, campaign execution, trade‑show operations and various registration tasks.

Required profile

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Proactive attitude with solid problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Responsibility for ensuring data accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience in sales or sales administration.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data sorting, chart creation, report formatting).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP/BW.
• Fluent English (multilingual ability highly desired).
