AML Manager - Japan AML/ATF Compliance

About the role

Manulife is looking for an AML Manager for its AML Compliance team within Legal & Compliance. The role supports Japan AML/ATF compliance, external and internal AML/ATF audits and ad-hoc projects. The working arrangement is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that policies and procedures within assigned businesses and products are followed.
• Submit the FATCA/CRS annual reporting and additional reports.
• Ensure MLJ complies with the Act of Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and the FSA guideline on AML/ATF.
• Manage the AML-related systems project.

Required profile

• Experience in financial institutions, preferably in insurance or banking.
• Knowledge and experience of FSA and LIAJ AML/ATF regulations and requirements.
• Strong spoken and written Japanese.
• Independent, analytical, hard-working and solution/business oriented.
• Preferred: ACAMS certification, English communication skills, and experience managing IT development or enhancement projects.
