Associate Channel Account Manager

About the role

PTC's Channel Sales team is a global organization focused on accelerating revenue growth in the Digital Transformation space by enabling partners, strengthening go-to-market strategies and driving scalable revenue through an indirect sales model. The Associate Channel Account Manager manages and supports assigned channel partners to drive software sales within the SMB segment, based in Tokyo.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support assigned channel partners to drive software sales in the SMB segment
• Develop joint business plans and execute go-to-market strategies with partners
• Enable partners through training, resources and ongoing engagement
• Drive transactional revenue through solution-oriented selling motions with partners
• Identify and grow new partner-led opportunities while supporting existing relationships
• Provide accurate revenue forecasts in coordination with Sales Management and partner input
• Work cross-functionally with Presales, Marketing, Customer Success and other teams to support partner success
• Maintain and track partner activities, pipeline and opportunities in the internal CRM system
• Act as the key point of contact between PTC and partners to facilitate deal progression and relationship management

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in sales, channel sales or partner management (software industry preferred)
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving business growth
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency required
• Professional digital presence

Required skills

• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as BANT, MEDDIC, etc.
• Strong collaboration, communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills, prioritization and time management
• Experience with partners or indirect sales models is highly preferred
