Bilingual Business Analyst (Japanese/English)

About the role

Nagarro is looking for a highly motivated Bilingual Business Analyst to join its Japan business team. The ideal candidate is a native Japanese speaker with fluent English who can work closely with Japanese clients and global delivery teams to define business requirements, optimize processes and drive digital transformation. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams and project delivery teams, turning business needs into functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with clients and stakeholders, then gather, analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications and process flows.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements, and identify gaps, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
• Create business process maps, workflow diagrams and solution documentation.
• Act as the main liaison between Japanese clients and global delivery teams, presenting findings, recommendations and project updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, support Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as backlog grooming and sprint planning, and assist with UAT, defect management and sign-off.
• Analyze current processes, recommend digital transformation initiatives, advise on best practices, and support pre-sales, proposals and solution workshops when needed.

Required profile

• Native Japanese speaker with fluent English.
• Experience working in multicultural environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and business process analysis expertise.
