C-12 / King Air Lead Site Mechanic

About the role

Amentum is recruiting a Lead Site Mechanic for the C-12 / King Air program at NAF Misawa, Japan. As Site Lead Mechanic, you will lead the effort for operating and maintaining the aircraft, aircraft subsystems and support equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Aircraft maintenance, including launch and recovery of the aircraft
• Supply of contractor-owned spares and support equipment through a Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP) program
• Repair and overhaul of repairable spares at FAA-certified repair stations
• Maintenance and repair of support equipment and aircraft paint
• Engine repair and overhaul

Required profile

• 5 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience
• 3 or more years maintaining King Air/1900 airliner series aircraft, including complex modifications
• At least one year as a site lead under a similar effort
• Current FAA A&P license
• Ability to direct a workforce in aircraft maintenance, repair and modification
• Ability to act as on-site liaison with the Government
• US citizenship, required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• High school diploma or GED minimum

What we offer

• Salary of $90,000 to $150,000
