About the role
AVEVA is seeking a driven Channel Account Manager to lead indirect sales growth in Japan. The role will focus on building and managing partner relationships to achieve double‑digit revenue expansion for AVEVA software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans for assigned channel partners.
- Recruit and qualify partners with the right expertise and market coverage.
- Lead quarterly business reviews, monitor partner performance and forecast accuracy.
- Support partners on customer sites to close opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve partner escalations and remove obstacles.
- Maintain partner competence through enablement, training and certifications.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise‑level software sales or partner management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong collaborative and strategic thinking abilities.
- Native‑level Japanese and good English communication skills.
- Experience with OEM applications and complex solution sales.
Required skills
- Knowledge of AVEVA product lines such as PI systems, MES and HMI/SCADA.
- Familiarity with OEM applications in the automation industry.
