Clinical Operations Lead, Japan

About the role

Eucalyptus is seeking a Clinical Operations Lead for Japan to build and scale a safe, high‑quality, and compliant clinical operation in one of its fastest‑growing markets. The role combines hands‑on execution with strategic leadership, working closely with global product, pharmacy partners and patient‑support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical input for new product launches and adapt global models to Japanese regulations and patient expectations.
• Build and scale a reliable prescriber network, designing screening, onboarding and performance‑management processes.
• Monitor clinical performance through audits and data analysis, manage incidents and drive continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Establish and maintain clinical governance frameworks aligned with Japanese healthcare regulations, including protocols and compliance readiness.
• Represent Eucalyptus with regulatory bodies, clinical associations and external stakeholders, fostering trust in the Japanese healthcare ecosystem.

Required profile

• Licensed healthcare professional in Japan (physician, pharmacist or allied health professional).
• Deep understanding of Japanese healthcare system, regulations and prescribing practices.
• Proven experience building and scaling clinical teams or processes in a fast‑paced digital‑health environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills across local and global teams.
• Fluent in Japanese (native level) and comfortable working in English.
