About the role

Veeva’s Japan Business Consulting Group is expanding its Commercial Strategy Consulting Team. As a Commercial Strategy Senior Consultant you will lead workstreams for life‑science clients, delivering innovative digital and commercial solutions that drive measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstream(s) in project engagements, managing scope, quality, resources, risk and timelines.
• Design, build and deliver end‑to‑end project deliverables that meet specific goals.
• Identify and proactively solve client problems while serving as the primary operational contact.
• Manage and mentor Associate Consultants, prioritising their work and development.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record.
• 3+ years of management consulting experience, preferably in life‑sciences commercial operations.
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy areas such as multi‑channel optimization, product launch, go‑to‑market, and key‑account planning.
• Proven data‑science and analytical abilities to assess problems quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Effective communication in English and Japanese and a valid working visa for Japan.
