DealWatch Reporter

About the role

LSEG is looking for a Reporter for DealWatch, based in Tokyo. The role covers the bond capital market and involves gathering data and commentary on new issues, writing trend stories and deal analyses, and supporting the DealWatch Awards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data and comments on new bond issues, including terms and conditions, new issuance lists, rating actions and shelf registrations.
• Write trend stories and deal analyses after communicating with market professionals.
• Provide market pipelines, market analysis and special features.
• Write reviews of the DealWatch Awards and help run the awards event as a team.
• Build good relationships with bankers, traders and investors.

Required profile

• Experience in the financial industry.
• Good understanding of capital markets.
• Self-motivated, able to organise tasks and priorities and finish them on time.
• Able to write stories quickly and meet deadlines.
• Team player.

Required skills

• English listening and writing skills.
