Enterprise Account Executive – Japan (Retail & Telco)

About the role

Dataiku, the enterprise platform for building, deploying and governing AI, is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join its growing team in Japan. The role engages prospects and customers about their initiatives so they can adopt a more efficient approach using the Dataiku platform (DSS). It covers the entire sales cycle, works cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering, and targets large enterprises in retail and telecoms.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on the value of Dataiku in a thoughtful way
• Drive revenue through proactive outreach to existing customers
• Provide recommendations based on customer business needs and usage patterns
• Manage multiple customers at different stages of the buying cycle
• Build a vision match with prospects, align groups and cultivate champions
• Handle inbound customer communication and escalate issues such as billing, legal, security and technical inquiries
• Act as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• 5-7 years of experience in software field sales or other relevant sales experience
• Proven experience selling into enterprise accounts, focused on retail and telecoms
• Experience selling innovation and new concepts to large enterprises
• Strong ability to build a vision match and cultivate champions
• Advanced interpersonal communication skills and adaptability with a growth mindset

Required skills

• Good articulation of competitive positioning
• Preferred: domain expertise in big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW and data integration
