Sales Engineer - Digital Assets

About the role

Fireblocks, an enterprise-grade platform for moving, storing and issuing digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs, is hiring a Sales Engineer for its Japan team. The role takes full ownership of designated projects and clients, from product demonstrations to client onboarding, and requires being based in Japan.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects and clients, from product sales demonstrations to client onboarding
• Understand the competitive landscape and act as a gatekeeper to internal engineering groups
• Assist with POC setup and testing, and give demos of advanced API features
• Handle tier 1-3 knowledge transfer, coordinate workshops and prepare RFx responses
• Support the sales cycle from qualification to onboarding, tailoring demos to each customer's needs
• Deliver technical presentations to C-level executives and cybersecurity professionals
• Work with Account Managers, Sales Directors and Product Managers, and translate technical terms for non-technical audiences

Required profile

• Pre-sales or consulting experience in a Fintech, Crypto or Cybersecurity company
• High technical acumen and a demonstrable passion for blockchain and crypto
• Interest in banking, financial services or fintech
• Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese
