Finance Business Process Manager

About the role

GKN Driveline Japan Ltd (head office and Tochigi plant) is looking for an experienced Finance Business Process Manager to support the financial operations of its manufacturing facility in Tochigi City, Japan. The role works closely with local management, the Asia regional finance team and global stakeholders on financial performance, cost control, budgeting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support finance managers in the operation processes of the Japanese factory
• Communicate with the company management team and the regional management team when they are unavailable
• Lead profit and loss analysis
• Lead fixed cost and variable cost control
• Support the budget creation process
• Lead or support internal and external audits
• Lead or support ad-hoc project processes

Required profile

• At least 7 years of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience is highly preferred
• Strong experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and cost control
• Business-level Japanese and English, able to communicate with overseas supervisors and global teams
• Preferred: CPA or USCPA, ERP system experience (e.g. SAP), experience in a multinational company, and plant controller or manufacturing finance experience
