Junior Channel and Media Operations Executive

About the role

A global media and entertainment organization that delivers programming across television channels and digital platforms is looking for a Channel and Media Operations Executive. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role coordinates the preparation and delivery of content for assigned channels and platforms, working with colleagues in Japan and the United Kingdom. It suits someone who enjoys careful coordination, adaptability and teamwork in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain media metadata and delivery records.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to coordinate video-on-demand assets.
• Ensure programming is ready on schedule and meets channel guidelines.
• Cover compliance, subtitling and dubbing coordination, and transmission logs.
• Follow up on technical and on-air issues and support post-production; edit or oversee video projects as priorities require.
• Troubleshoot delivery challenges and maintain the technical quality of channel output.
• Take initiative to maintain internal workflow systems and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Three to five years of experience in playout operations, media operations or a closely related area.
• Native-level Japanese to work with Japanese vendors and client executives.
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with UK-based colleagues and company-wide systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, work with minimal supervision and perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.
