Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Onsite in Okinawa

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join its on‑site medical team in Okinawa, Japan. The role supports patient care in a clinic serving U.S. Federal Government and military personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Check‑in patients, triage according to clinic guidelines, and communicate findings to nurses or physicians.
• Obtain and document patient and family histories, vital signs, and specimen collections.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic examinations such as lumbar punctures, colposcopies, and sigmoidoscopies.
• Perform laboratory tests, sterile dressing changes, IV fluid management, catheter and nasogastric tube insertions, and medication administration.
• Prepare patients for radiology, physical therapy, and surgical procedures, and transport them as needed.
• Record and report all observations, symptoms, and treatment outcomes using CHCS/AHLTA or direct laboratory contact.

Required profile

• Current LPN/LVN licensure and ability to work in Japan.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinic policies, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
