Major Account Executive

About the role

PTC is looking for a Major or Global Account Executive in Tokyo. You will drive revenue growth with the company's largest global customers by identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities within a defined territory or vertical, working closely with cross-functional teams across regions to deliver value-driven solutions using PTC's software products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct sales.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, including C-level executives.
• Understand customer needs and articulate the value of PTC's solutions (CAD, IoT, ALM, PLM, AR, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders globally and deliver compelling presentations and demos.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Native-level Japanese and fluent English.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and sales methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Nice to have: experience running global sales, familiarity with PTC or competitor products, and a technical background in engineering and manufacturing.
