Manufacturing Technician II

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician II you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom and warehouse environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, parts audits and documentation to ensure high‑quality semiconductor and display products.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and inspect for defects, improving processes as needed.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, enter data on progress and labor, and execute software installs or computer programming when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher; 1–2 years experience in semiconductor or display equipment manufacturing.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Basic knowledge of hand and electric tools; willingness to work in a warehouse and cleanroom environment.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and English communication.
