About the role
The Tokyo Japanese Banking Team at Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Paralegal to support fee earners on transactional matters, legal research, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist fee earners in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Manage document handling, translations, and notarizations.
- Conduct legal due diligence and research.
- Support office regulatory matters and liaise with authorities.
- Prepare client, market, and legal updates, as well as fee proposals.
- Assist with new client onboarding, matter opening, and submissions to legal directories.
Required profile
- Law degree holder with relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Ability to manage a demanding workload with attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive attitude; capable of independent and team work.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.
