Partnerships Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Partnerships Coordinator to join our team in Niseko, Japan. Reporting to the Sales & Reservations Executive, you will help develop and manage commercial partnerships that drive tourism and hospitality sales across Niseko and Furano. This full‑time, fixed‑term position offers the chance to work closely with accommodation providers, travel agencies, tourism boards and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales & Reservations Executive in identifying and developing new partnership opportunities.
• Research potential accommodation providers, local businesses, travel agencies and tourism organisations.
• Maintain professional relationships with existing partners, providing timely follow‑up to enquiries and requests.
• Coordinate partner meetings, prepare agendas and materials, record notes and track follow‑up actions.
• Keep accurate partner contact lists, partnership records, sales pipelines and activity reports.
• Assist in preparing partnership proposals, package offers, discount promotions and commission arrangements.
• Support destination‑promotion and tourism initiatives that generate commercial growth.
• Provide regular updates on partnership activity, pending actions, opportunities and issues requiring escalation.
• Manage inventory and distribution of promotional materials to partner locations.

Required profile

• Strong communication, relationship‑building and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proactive attitude, capable of identifying issues and taking initiative.
• Interest in sales, partnerships, tourism, travel or hospitality.
• Professional English proficiency; Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Previous experience with accommodation providers, travel agencies or tourism organisations is preferred.
