Photographer and Videographer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Photographer and Videographer to join our Marketing team in Hakuba for the winter season. Working on‑site from mid‑November to mid‑March, you will be the primary visual storyteller, creating a high‑volume media bank and engaging social‑media content that reflects the Rhythm brand.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and upload daily raw and edited photos and videos of products, stores, staff, guests, events and on‑snow action to our Digital Asset Management system.
• Create short‑form video reels and TikTok‑style clips that align with brand guidelines and drive audience engagement.
• Coordinate independent shoot schedules, adapting to weather, snow conditions and team availability.
• Deliver fast‑turnaround edits for social channels and paid advertising campaigns.
• Host and manage on‑snow shoots with guests, local partners and professional riders, ensuring safety and brand consistency.

Required profile

• Passion for photography and videography, especially snow‑sports action.
• Strong self‑motivation, excellent organization and the ability to work long hours independently.
• Fluent English and a valid international driver’s licence.
• Experienced skier or snowboarder with ability to capture advanced riders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom.
• Fast editing and retouching of photos and video footage.
• Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.
