Process Support Engineer

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) will guide semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site installation, diagnosis, and repair for complex systems. The role works closely with customers and R&D teams to develop and optimise advanced manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment.
• Collaborate with customers to optimise tool performance and meet process integration requirements.
• Validate operational quality of systems and train customers on operation and maintenance.
• Design and execute hypothesis experiments and Design of Experiments (DOE) for advanced semiconductor processes.
• Analyse experimental data using statistical methods and compile reports with high‑level conclusions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve challenging process engineering and product issues.

Required profile

• Knowledge of at least two semiconductor processes across one or more technologies.
• Ability to explain complex technical information in straightforward terms.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills using technical experience and judgment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time and relocate if needed.
