Sales Order Specialist (Order Management)

About the role

LSEG is building a Sales Order Management Specialist (SOS) team in Tokyo, Japan, as part of its global Order Management and Customer Operations strategy. The team supports LSEG/Refinitiv customers in Japan and Japan-domiciled global financial organizations. The role is hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home) and follows a flexible shift pattern, with public holidays aligned to the supported location.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the order process for Refinitiv products, entering orders into specialist permissioning or electronic fulfilment systems and ensuring accurate, timely fulfilment
• Resolve customer queries and issues through investigation, analysis and proposed solutions, and handle all customer communication professionally
• Maintain quality and efficiency standards such as agreed volume, service and quality targets
• Collaborate with the team, including supervising the group email account and aligning LSEG Market Driven Metrics
• Maintain the accuracy of customer install positions (billable assets) and customer access, and craft and modify customer master data
• Ensure financial controls and policies are followed, including controls on third-party data use
• Raise delays to internal groups and senior members of the organization, and prioritize tasks to deliver excellent customer service

Required profile

• 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service or order-to-cash roles
• Graduate or post-graduate degree; expert candidates should have prior administration experience
• Japanese and sophisticated English (business level); understanding of Japanese business practices is an advantage
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task, with strong written and verbal communication

Required skills

• Good understanding of computer systems; knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and Siebel is an advantage
• Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools is desirable
• Experience with AI tools is preferred
