Senior Consultant - NetSuite Functional Implementation

About the role

Cygnify is recruiting a Senior Consultant (Functional Implementation) in Tokyo for an IT services and consulting firm, a Premier Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner, that works with complex organizations across many countries. The consultant delivers implementations, gathers requirements, sets up systems and trains users, working closely with the Director of Service Delivery and coordinating with project teams in the Philippines, the Middle East and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Work simultaneously on 2-4 or more client projects and oversee 3-5 projects
• Find new accounts, manage existing ones, assess customer needs and build, test and implement NetSuite
• Lead all phases of NetSuite implementation: requirements gathering, documentation, buildout, validation and demos, testing and user training
• Update project allocations, team capacity and billable hours, assign activity trackers in Salesforce and set up roles for new projects
• Train and mentor junior consultants and share expertise in the company's project delivery methodology
• Develop expertise in NetSuite and identify non-standard business processes, recommending effective solutions
• Help clients design their enterprise architecture and take part in designing, building, testing and supporting integrations between client systems
• Resolve NetSuite issues and provide innovative solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Finance, Accounting or a related field (MBA is an asset)
• 6+ years as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst on NetSuite implementation projects
• 1-2 years managing direct reports, with proven leadership and team management skills
• Experience with SaaS solutions, IT systems or business models such as distribution, manufacturing, construction, retail, media and advertising
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite modules and experience designing complex NetSuite solutions
• Experience creating profitable, referenceable customer relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities
