About the role
Agoda is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Financial Institution partnership strategy in Japan. You will shape the local FI ecosystem, drive customer acquisition and deliver measurable business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the FI partnership strategy aligned with market priorities and growth targets.
- Identify, evaluate and prioritize new opportunities with banks, card issuers, payment platforms and loyalty programs.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract execution and ongoing account management for key partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Finance, Legal and Operations to launch and optimise partnership initiatives.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development or related commercial roles.
- Proven track record of managing financial institution or payment ecosystem partners and delivering commercial outcomes.
- Strong analytical, project‑management and stakeholder‑influence skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Experience with SQL, Tableau or other data‑visualisation tools.
