Senior Technical Product Manager

About the role

The Senior Technical Product Manager will translate Cogent Labs' cutting‑edge AI technology into successful B2B SaaS products, bridging deep technical development with strategic business goals. The role requires fluency in Japanese and English and a strong understanding of AI, deep learning, and NLP.

Key responsibilities

• Define detailed technical specifications (PRDs) that consider AI model performance limits and system architecture.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering, R&D, sales, marketing, and leadership, turning complex technical concepts into business value.
• Develop and own the product roadmap for AI‑based document automation and workflow solutions.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and experimentation within the engineering team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with B2B SaaS products.
• Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts and align them with market needs.
• Fluent in written and spoken Japanese and business‑level English.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Required skills

• AI/ML, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Document processing and workflow automation.
• Technical literacy to work closely with R&D and engineering teams.
