Strategic Account Manager – Homes (Tokyo)

About the role

The Strategic Account Manager will expand the supply of non‑hotel accommodations in Japan, sourcing new partners and using data‑driven insights to grow existing relationships. You will combine on‑the‑ground market knowledge with analysis to uncover strategic opportunities and help build a host community network.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the business through targeted sourcing of new accommodation partners.
• Build trusted relationships with decision makers using a consultative approach.
• Combine data insights to support existing partners in growing their business.
• Report weekly/monthly KPIs and key metrics internally.
• Support regional and global leadership in executing scalable initiatives.
• Develop a host network, host events, and attend relevant market events.
• Prepare materials for partner meetings.
• Consolidate feedback from hosts to identify product gaps and feature requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Fluency in Japanese and English.
• Experience in B2B sales or similar partner‑facing roles.
• Self‑starter with a proven track record of autonomous project execution.
• Strategic, results‑oriented thinker who is creative and open to innovation.
• Fast learner who adapts well to change.
• Strong business development and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to execute the team’s vision and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
