TR & NTR A320 Captains – Permanent, Osaka

About the role

AeroProfessional is recruiting TR and NTR A320 Captains on behalf of its client, Peach Aviation, based at Kansai International Airport, Osaka, Japan. Peach is a low-cost carrier wholly owned by ANA Holdings, flying an Airbus A320 family fleet from Kansai, with secondary bases at Naha, Sendai and Tokyo-Narita, serving about 40 domestic and international routes. The position is permanent, with positioning flights included.

Required profile

• Valid ICAO (JCAB) Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with an A320 or other type rating.
• 4,000 hours total flight time in commercial airlines; 1,500 hours PIC on commercial jets (reduced to 500 hours if the candidate holds a JCAB ATPL and flew for a Japan-based commercial airline).
• LPC validity of 6 months upon joining.
• Aviation English level 4 or above.
• Permanent, working or spouse visa (if any) requested as part of the application.
• Radio licence issued at least 2 years ago; an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is recommended if the licence is not endorsed.

• Home travel allowance (economy-class ticket or JPY 200,000 per month gross) after initial training and line pilot designation; commuting from outside the base is possible under the Commuting Pattern roster.
• Permanent employment until age 65, then an optional renewable 1-year contract until age 68.
• Initial training through to line Captain, paid by the company; resignation within 24 months requires a payback of JPY 2,500,000, waived if the candidate already holds a JCAB A320 type rating.
