The Supplier Account Management III (B3) position supports the company's supply base in Osaka, Japan, driving strategic supplier relationships and cost reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies.
• Negotiates and manages agreements with suppliers, establishing the structure for all business relationships.
• Engages with the PLC process to ensure alignment with commodity strategies.
• Directs new supplier introductions or disengagements.
• Drives resolution of systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time, including sub‑tier engagement.
• Develops and presents high‑level cost reduction opportunities.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth and breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline.
• Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
• Leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
• Leads others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought.
• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates to influence viewpoints.
