VP / Director, Retail & Digital Marketing

About the role

Invesco is seeking a senior leader to drive retail and digital marketing initiatives in Japan, aligning with global strategy and local business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual and medium‑term marketing planning aligned with Japan business priorities, client needs and global direction.
• Develop and maintain compliant sales materials and client communications for investment products.
• Establish robust marketing governance covering approvals, documentation, version control and quality checks.
• Plan and execute integrated campaigns, managing agencies, budgets, timelines and performance against KPIs.
• Act as deputy to the Head of Marketing and prepare for broader team‑leadership responsibilities.

Required profile

• Over 5 years of asset‑management experience with strong understanding of investment products and distribution channels.
• Proven track record developing sales materials and leading marketing projects from concept to execution.
• Experience establishing governance processes and collaborating with sales, product, investment, legal, compliance and global stakeholders.
• Ability to manage agencies, budgets and timelines, with potential to grow into a broader leadership role.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools.
