Certified Pharmacy Technician – On‑site in Okinawa, Japan

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to work on‑site at a U.S. Military Treatment Facility in Okinawa, Japan. This full‑time position supports pharmacy operations for government‑contracted healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense new outpatient prescriptions and refills, entering orders into pharmacy databases.
• Provide medication information, monitor drug interactions, and report adverse reactions.
• Conduct drug storage inspections, review expired supplies, and generate error and workload reports.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including stocking shelves, maintaining inventory records, and producing out‑of‑stock reports.
• Operate pharmacy computer and robotic dispensing systems in accordance with MTF protocols.
• Participate in emergency preparedness drills, performance improvement activities, and the Family Advocacy Program.
• Complete all required annual training, including disaster response, infection control, and safety courses.

Required profile

• Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ginowan, Okinawa, Japan.
• Ability to follow Joint Commission standards and MTF operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
