Digital Partner Development Manager (Fully Remote, Japan)

About the role

Echez is hiring a Digital Partner Development Manager based in Japan to support and grow relationships with technology partners across the Japanese market. The role is fully remote and full-time, working with partner executives and key stakeholders alongside an international team supporting global technology programs. Candidates must live in Japan and be legally authorized to work there.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with partner executives and key stakeholders.
• Develop strategic partner plans aligned with business and revenue objectives.
• Identify new business and growth opportunities and drive pipeline development, deal progression, forecasting and sales performance.
• Support partners with Microsoft solutions, licensing, incentives, programs and digital sales initiatives.
• Help partners strengthen capabilities around Cloud, AI, Copilot and emerging technologies.
• Conduct partner business reviews and recommend actions to improve growth and profitability.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support throughout the partner journey.
• Collaborate with international teams to resolve business challenges and keep partner, opportunity and activity data accurate in CRM systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience; 4+ years in partner management, channel sales, account management or business development.
• Experience in the technology industry, including with partners, distributors, resellers, OEMs and retailers.
• Experience managing sales targets, pipeline and forecasting.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
• Currently residing in Japan and legally authorized to work there.

Required skills

• CRM usage.
• Preferred: Microsoft or Microsoft partner ecosystem experience, and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot, AI and Cloud.
