Furano Location Manager

About the role

The Furano Location Manager leads Rhythm Rides' winter operation in Furano from November through April. This hands‑on position coordinates guide operations, backcountry guest services, equipment logistics and ensures safe, efficient, and memorable experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Furano operation across guiding, backcountry guest services and operational support.
• Set priorities aligned with Rhythm’s overall rides strategy and business objectives.
• Maintain a positive, accountable culture that reflects Rhythm’s values.
• Coordinate closely with Furano Store Operations to provide accurate booking, guest and equipment information.
• Serve as senior escalation point for staffing, guest, safety and operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with safety systems and operational standards; defer to Guide Safety Officer on technical safety decisions.
• Drive financial and labour performance, monitoring budgets and staffing levels.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in winter or outdoor tourism operations.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance and guest experience.
• Ability to manage and develop guide, guest services and operations teams.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple functional areas.
• Experience handling seasonal staffing, budgeting and performance metrics.
