Implementation Manager – Japanese/English Speaker

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking an Implementation Manager who is fluent in Japanese and English to join the GlobalLink Web team in Tokyo. You will act as the client advocate, guiding them through the onboarding, implementation and ongoing maintenance of multilingual website solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client onboarding, scope requirements and develop implementation schedules in collaboration with internal production teams.
• Educate clients on technical requirements, generate cost estimates, handle invoicing and forecast budgets for website updates.
• Build and document client management processes, strengthen long‑term relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Work closely with sales to maintain KPIs, business growth plans and ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in account, program or customer‑success management within a web agency, software or localization company.
• Proven experience managing multi‑faceted projects from inception to launch.
• Fluency in English and Japanese with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.

What we offer

• Annual salary negotiable based on experience, with full social insurance and transportation allowance (up to ¥30,000 per month).
• Standard working hours 9:00‑19:00, 8‑hour day plus 1‑hour break, 2‑day weekend, paid holidays and various leave types.
