Localization Project Manager

About the role

The Localization Project Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of translation projects, coordinating with internal teams, vendors and clients to ensure high‑quality, on‑time results.

Key responsibilities

• Organise emails, documents and data imports/exports; create and maintain project files.
• Identify project requirements, place and set up jobs, calculate budgets and assign resources.
• Select and negotiate with vendors, create purchase orders and manage invoicing.
• Track schedules, log costs and maintain spreadsheets for project information.
• Maintain vendor relationships, recruit and train linguistic teams, and manage translation memory and glossary assets.
• Prepare files in .doc, PDF.xls, PPT and import images as needed.
• Communicate with clients, attend calls, analyse feedback and drive corrective actions.
• Support compliance investigations, risk identification and escalation handling.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and multitasking abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 1‑2 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Experience with translation memory and glossary management.
• Proficiency in file preparation using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF formats.
