Manager, Global Clinical Supply Group

About the role

Novartis is looking for a Manager, Global Clinical Supply Group to ensure uninterrupted supply of investigational products for clinical trials in Japan. Working closely with global and local stakeholders, you will develop and run clinical supply strategies that deliver investigational products on time, supporting the development of new medicines for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical supply activities for local and global development programmes in Japan.
• Develop and execute supply strategies covering forecasting, packaging design and distribution planning.
• Act as the main liaison between Japan and the Global Clinical Supply teams.
• Manage importation and distribution of investigational medicinal products in line with regulations.
• Oversee external vendors, packaging operations and warehouse activities.
• Drive continuous process improvement and support audits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GCP and company quality requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a scientific, technical, pharmaceutical or related discipline.
• About 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of investigational medicinal product supply and the Japanese pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
• Experience managing complex clinical supply activities and working with many stakeholders; global or matrix environment experience preferred.
• Fluent Japanese and English.
