About the role
The Manufacturing Technician II works hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. The role supports semiconductor and display production by ensuring equipment reliability and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Use work orders, schematics and parts lists to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
- Perform audits of incoming parts, inspect for defects and troubleshoot to improve processes.
- Operate test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies.
- Document work progress, expenses and labor details; install software or perform programming as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or higher; 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
- Basic English communication skills and willingness to work in a warehouse environment.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, bend and work in a cleanroom with PPE.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel for data management.
- Proficiency with hand tools and electric tools.
- Experience using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
